Favorite recipes from cookbooks. This web author has the same idea
as us... find great recipes, compile them and share with others.
All Recipes: Lots of recipes on this site -
most are from home cooks who send in their favorites. What we like
about it- usually there are numerous ratings on a recipe so you can get
a clear picture of how good it is and how it should be modified.
Amateur Gourmet:
Witty writing, real food and lots of pictures. This is a fun one!
Bon Appetit: One of our favorite cooking
magazines has a great website too. What we like best- being able
to print selected reader comments about recipes with the recipe.
Cooking Light:
Always a favorite, we like to find the recipes that sound the best in
the magazine and then go to the site to see how our favorites are rated.
Creative Culinary
Tours: Offers culinary get away tours throughout New
England, Tennessee and California (and will be expanding to more
locations). This company is working hard to design wonderful trips
for people who love food and interesting destinations.
Food Network:
There is a lot of information and recipes to sort through, but if you're
patient and willing to take the time then you'll find some worthwhile
stuff.
O-Chef: Answers to cooking questions. These people seem
pretty knowledgeable, and they have some interesting tips.
Oprah.com- Food & Home: We all know that Oprah loves food,
and here she displays all of her favorites. There are usually some
terrific ideas for new recipes on this site anywhere from cookbook
authors to celebrities. Some recipes have pictures too!
Recipe Zaar: What we enjoy most about this website is the
"member cookbooks" section. People from all over the world spend
time compiling their favorite recipes into free online cookbooks on this
site. There are also tons of other recipes on the site. Some
recipes have photographs and ratings.
Strat's Place: Wine, gardening and the arts. Includes
great, interesting information about everything wine- wine/food
pairings, wine dictionary, wine stores, how to hold a wine tasting, and
much more. A great resource for wine lovers!
Wine Enthusiast: Educate yourself about wine and everything
related to it. This site also sells glassware, wine racks, etc.
You can sign up to receive their catalogue, and they have great sales
too!
