Preheat oven
to 350 degrees F. |

Brown meat
and onion in large sauté pan. Remove excess oil.
Add all other ingredients except cheese and
tortillas. |

In large
casserole dish, place a layer of tortillas on
the bottom. Spread a layer of sauce on top of
the tortillas. Alternate tortillas and sauce
until you run out. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on
top. |

Cover with
foil or lid. Bake 1 to 1 ˝ hours. Uncover for
the final 10 minutes of baking. |
