Barbecued Pork Chops

 

 

Tender meat with a delicious sauce...
 

¼ cup 

 

packed brown sugar

 

¼ cup 

 

ketchup

 

1 Tbs 

 

worcestershire sauce

 

1 Tbs 

 

low-sodium soy sauce

 

1 tsp 

 

dried thyme

 

1 tsp 

 

garlic salt

 

¼ tsp 

 

ground red pepper

 

4 whole 

 

boneless loin chops (about 1.5 lbs.)

Preheat grill or broiler.

Combine first 4 ingredients in a small bowl. Place ¼ cup sauce in a small bowl and set aside.

Combine thyme, garlic salt and red pepper; sprinkle over chops. Place chops on a grill rack or broiler pan coated with cooking spray; cook 6 minutes per side, basting with the remaining sauce. After cooking, let rest 5 minutes. Serve with remaining sauce.
