In large
saucepan, melt butter over a medium heat and
brown the chops on each side for about 5
minutes. Remove the chops from the pan, and pour
the pan juice in a casserole dish. Line the dish
with the bay leaves. Put the chops on top of the
leaves and cover each chop with a slice of ham.
Finely chop the sage and sprinkle it over the
ham. Sprinkle the cheese over the sage. |
