 Chinese Chicken Salad Dressing

 

This sweet-tasting dressing is a good one for chicken salad...
 

4 Tbs 

 

granulated sugar

 

4 Tbs 

 

red wine vinegar

 

½ tsp 

 

salt

 

1 tsp 

 

soy sauce

 

1 tsp 

 

sherry

 

6 Tbs 

 

canola oil

Mix all dressing ingredients except for oil in a small saucepan. Heat until sugar is completely dissolved. Add oil and refrigerate.

Great tossed with chicken, onions, almonds, sesame seeds, lettuce and bean shreds.
