 Mexican-Style Spicy Caesar Salad

 

A bit of spice to your caesar...
 

1 head 

 

romaine lettuce, chopped

 

1 ¼ cups 

 

creamy Caesar salad dressing

 

1 medium 

 

jalapeño pepper, quartered (seeds removed)

 

1 Tbs 

 

fresh lime juice

 

2/3 cup 

 

shredded Parmesan cheese

 

 

 

croutons

Place Caesar dressing, jalapeno and lime juice in a blender and process until smooth. Chill until ready to serve.

In large bowl, mix romaine and Parmesan. Drizzle with dressing and toss until desired coating. Sprinkle with croutons.

 Cooking Tips

*With a serrated peeler, shave some Parmesan onto the top of each salad.
