  VEGETABLE & OTHER SALADS:
Broccoli Salad
 

 Broccoli Salad

 

A salad favorite for broccoli lovers...
 

1 head 

 

broccoli, cleaned- flowers and stems cut into bite-sized pieces

 

7 slices 

 

bacon, cooked and crumbled

 

½ cup 

 

chopped red onion

 

½ cup 

 

raisins

 

8 oz 

 

sharp cheddar cheese, cut into very small pieces

 

1 cup 

 

mayonnaise

 

2 Tbs 

 

rice vinegar

 

¼ cup 

 

granulated sugar

 

1 cup 

 

cherry tomatoes, halved

Place broccoli, bacon, onion, raisins and cheese in a large bowl. Mix together.

In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients, stirring well. Add to broccoli mixture and toss gently.
