Thousand Island Dressing
 

 Thousand Island Salad Dressing

 

All of the ingredients are likely in your kitchen already...
 

1 cup 

 

finely chopped onion

 

1½ cups 

 

mayonnaise

 

1½ cups 

 

ketchup

 

1 cup 

 

granulated sugar

 

2 Tbs 

 

fresh lemon juice

 

1 tsp 

 

black pepper

 

2 tsp 

 

salt

Mix all ingredients together well.

Refrigerate until chilled.

 

Yield: 1 quart

 

 Cooking Tips

*This recipe makes quite a bit, so just halve the recipe if you want less.

**Thousand island dressing tastes great with any lettuce, but it's especially good with iceberg wedges.
