Melt butter
and oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.
Add onion, peppers, garlic and jalapeños; sauté
5-6 minutes, or until onions are tender. |

Stir in all
remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce
heat to medium-low, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Pour mixture through a wire-mesh strainer into a
bowl, discarding solids. |

immediately to barbecue, or store in your
refrigerator for up to 3 weeks. |
