Chili Sweet and Sour Sauce
 

Chili Sweet and Sour Sauce

 

Terrific dipping sauce for won tons...
 

½ cup 

 

ketchup

 

½ cup 

 

water

 

¼ cup 

 

distilled vinegar

 

¼ cup 

 

granulated sugar

 

1 Tbs 

 

chili garlic sauce

 

dash 

 

of soy sauce

 

½ tsp 

 

sesame oil

 

1 tsp 

 

minced garlic

 

1 tsp 

 

minced fresh ginger

In a food processor, puree all ingredients. Place in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thickened.

Serve as a dipping sauce with won tons or egg rolls.
