 Wild Rice with Mushrooms and Almonds

 

Crunchy and flavorful...
 

8 oz 

 

fresh sliced mushrooms

 

4 green 

 

onions, chopped

 

1 cup 

 

slivered almonds

 

1 Tbs 

 

butter

 

1 cup 

 

wild rice, rinsed well

 

3 cups 

 

chicken broth

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease lidded casserole dish.

Brown onions, mushrooms and almonds lightly in butter. Add to uncooked rice and chicken broth. Pour into prepared dish.

Bake 1½ hours, until rice has absorbed all liquid.
