potatoes, washed and cut in half |

and half |

Cabernet Sauvignon |

Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper to
taste |

Boil
potatoes until fork tender. |

While
potatoes are cooking, simmer wine in small
saucepan until reduced to ¼ cup. |

Drain cooked
potatoes and return to same pot. Mash, adding
wine and half and half until it reaches desired
consistency. Season with salt and pepper. |

Serve
immediately. |
