tabasco sauce, salt and pepper to taste |

Preheat oven
to 350° F. |

Dissolve
bouillon cubes in boiling water. |

Melt butter
in skillet and brown rice in it. Add onions and
cook until wilted. Mix in mushrooms, broth,
boiling water/bouillon, water chestnuts and
green peppers. Season to taste. |

Place in 1½
quart casserole and bake for 45 minutes. Stir
occasionally. |
