Preheat oven
to 300 degrees F. |

Boil water
in saucepan. Drop rice in boiling water for 5
minutes. Drain and set aside. |

Melt 4 T.
butter in 3-quart casserole dish. Stir in
onions, rice, salt and pepper. Cover and bake
for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. |

When ready
to serve, stir in cream, cheese and 2 T. butter.
Sprinkle with parsley. |
