Walla Walla Sweet onions, sliced thin |

Preheat oven
to 325 degrees F. |

Melt butter
in large skillet; add onions and cook over
medium heat until transparent but not brown.
Remove from heat. |

Mix together
onions, rice, cheese, half & half and salt; put
into 2-quart shallow casserole and top with
Parmesan cheese. |

Bake for 1½
hours. |
