 Asparagus with Caper Dill Sauce

 

Refreshing side dish to a nice piece of fish...
 

1 cup 

 

nonfat yogurt or sour cream

 

¼ cup 

 

fresh lemon juice

 

¼ cup 

 

fresh chopped dill (or 1 T. dried)

 

¼ cup 

 

capers, drained

 

½ tsp 

 

salt

 

½ tsp 

 

fresh ground pepper

 

1 lb 

 

fresh asparagus or green beans

Blend all sauce ingredients. Chill for at least 1 hour.

Cook asparagus or green beans to desired tenderness.

Drizzle sauce over vegetables.

*Try serving the vegetables chilled too, with sauce drizzled on top.
