Sweet flavor with

ground nutmeg |

almond slivers, toasted |

Prepare
green beans. Boil or steam until tender. Drain
and place on serving dish. |

Melt butter
over low heat and add honey, nutmeg, salt and
pepper. Stir into green beans. |

Garnish with
almond slivers. |

Cooking Tips |
|
*I have found that
the simplest way to toast raw almond slivers is to heat
them in a dry frying pan. Stir often until they are
toasted. |
