Back Bay Chili

 

Hearty, flavorful bowl of chili...
 

1 quart 

 

water

 

2 lbs 

 

lean hamburger

 

1 tsp 

 

cinnamon

 

1 tsp 

 

ground cumin

 

2 large 

 

onions, chopped

 

1 tsp 

 

Worcestershire sauce

 

1 clove 

 

garlic, minced

 

2 Tbs 

 

black pepper

 

½ tsp 

 

ground red cayenne pepper

 

1 Tbs 

 

salt

 

1 ½ tsp 

 

ground allspice

 

16 oz 

 

can tomato paste

 

1 ½ Tbs 

 

cider vinegar

 

3 whole 

 

bay leaves

In large pot or crockpot, crumble raw hamburger into water. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 3 hours.

Remove bay leaves. Serve in bowls or mugs garnished with cheese and sour cream.
