An amazing, fresh
treat on a warm day...

|
fresh blueberries |
|
|

cup |

fresh orange juice |
|
|
½
cup |

granulated sugar |
|

tsp |

ground allspice |

salt |

fresh lemon juice |

and half cream |

plain nonfat yogurt |

In saucepan
over medium-high heat, place blueberries, orange
juice, sugar, allspice and salt. Bring to a
boil, stirring often. Remove from heat and let
cool for 15 minutes. |

After
mixture has cooled, place blueberry mixture and
lemon juice in blender or food processor and
process until smooth. Stop occasionally and
scrape down the sides. |

Cover and
chill until ready to serve. |

Stir in half
and half just before serving. Place a dollop of
yogurt on top of each portion. |

*Serve in martini
glasses or another cute, stemmed glass. |

*Garnish with mint
leaves, if desired. |
