What I’m watching and reading:
- Ok, no judging here, but I watched the latest season of Married at First Sight on Netflix. It’s a pretty trashy show, and I really only watch it when I want something on for mindless TV while I’m doing other things. But sometimes they actually get a matched couple who stays together! It’s my guilty TV pleasure.
- I just downloaded the audiobook for They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera. I’m hoping it’s a good one! On September 5, a little after midnight, Death-Cast calls Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio to give them some bad news: They’re going to die today. Adam Silvera reminds us that there’s no life without death and no love without loss in this devastating yet uplifting story about two people whose lives change over the course of one unforgettable day.
Fun Recipes I’ve spotted on the internet this week:
- This is the most delicious thing I’ve spotted all week >> Roasted Blueberry Pull-Apart Loaf.
- OMG >>Chocolate Chip Cookies with Peanut Brittle.
- So cute >> Fruit and Vegetable Bug Snacks.
- Crockpot Lasagna seems like such an easy dinner idea!
Here’s what’s going on in my life:
- We are making plans to go to France in the fall! It’s so exciting- I absolutely love both France and Italy.
- I ordered graduation announcements for my son Brooks, who is graduating from college in May. How did that happen? He was just a baby yesterday!

- Have you ever tried a type of fish called John Dory (a flaky white fish)? I sent my husband to pick up salmon at the seafood market, and he came back with this fish. He cooked it in a cast iron skillet with a little butter/oil and salt/pepper. It was so good! Try it!

Bake this week:
