Hard Sauce

Delicious served over steamed pudding or fresh baked fruit pie.
Yield: 1 cup

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped to soft peaks
Directions:
  1. In a medium bowl, beat sugar with butter until creamy; beat in vanilla. Fold in whipped cream.
  2. Serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to serve.
