In a large bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter and eggs. In another bowl, stir the dry ingredients together. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and whisk just until smooth.
Preheat your waffle iron; butter the grates lightly or spray with nonstick spray (even if it's a nonstick waffle iron). Ladle the batter onto the iron. Close the lid, and cook until light golden brown. Serve immediately.
