Ingredients
3
cups
ice cubes
⅓
cup
good tequila
2
cups
fresh blueberries
(frozen are ok too)
¾
cup
limeade
¼
cup
powdered sugar
¼
cup
Cointreau
fresh orange juice
granulated superfine white sugar
Instructions
In a blender, blend all ingredients except the orange juice and the granulated sugar. Blend until smooth.
Dip the rims of the serving glasses in orange juice and then in sugar. Pour the frozen blueberry mixture into the glasses.
Notes
You can substitute triple sec or Grand Marnier for the Cointreau, if desired.
Don't dip these margaritas in salt! The blueberry flavor is much better with the sweet accompaniment of sugar.
