Spiked Cider

1 quart apple cider
4 whole cloves
4 whole allspice
3 cinnamon sticks
1 oz. brandy

1. Bring cider almost to a boil in a saucepan.

2. Place spices on a square of cheesecloth and tie up with a string; add spice bag to cider and simmer 30 minutes. Remove spice bag and bring cider almost to a boil.

3. Serve cider in cups and float a small amount of brandy on top of each serving.
