Santaluz Summer Iced Tea
Yield: 8 cups
Prep Time: 15 min + steeping time
1/2 cup granulated white sugar
2 large lemons, juiced
4 cups boiling water
3 Tablespoons Earl Grey loose tea, or 4 teabags
handful of mint leaves
4 cups cold water
1. Combine sugar, lemon juice and 2 cups boiling water. Steep for 15 minutes.
2. In another container, combine tea, mint and 2 cups of boiling water and steep for 15 minutes.
3. Remove mint and strain both mixtures. Add 4 cups of cold water. Chill for several hours before serving.
*Amounts of tea, water, and sugar may be adjusted for a stronger, weaker, sweeter taste.
