In our home, we usually make a very nice family dinner on Christmas Eve- making room for a big, make-ahead brunch on Christmas Day. The routine is to wake up Christmas morning, break out the Cranberry Mimosa’s while opening gifts and take a break for brunch when we get hungry.
The key is… no one wants to do any work in the kitchen on Christmas Day, so we choose dishes that are easily made ahead and require very little time to put together in the morning. Here’s our easy, make-ahead menu… for recipes with photos included, click on recipe titles below and print.
