Apple Crisp
Apple Crisp
Yield: 8 servings
Prep Time: 20 min
Cook Time: 30 min
Ingredients:
4 cups apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 Tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup oats
1/2 cup melted butterDirections:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly spray 8x10-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
2. Layer apples in baking dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
3. In large bowl, mix together dry ingredients, and use pastry blender to combine with butter. Sprinkle crumb mixture over apples.
4. Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly and hot.
Tips:
*Great served warm with vanilla ice cream.

Great dessert – easy to prepare and a good way to use the apples on my tree that all seem to ripen at the same time! I served it with kool whip, but vanilla ice cream sounds delicious.
