Ingredients
Burgers
- 1 pound ground turkey
- ½ cup chopped green onions
- ¼ cup soft bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon vegetable or canola oil
Sauce
- ½ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
MAKE THE BURGERS:
- In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, green onions, breadcrumbs, cilantro, soy sauce, ginger and garlic. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix well. Divide the turkey mixture into 4 equal patties.
- Preheat the grill. Grill the burgers until desired doneness.
MAKE THE SAUCE:
- In a small saucepan, combine the orange juice, lemon juice and soy sauce. Let it simmer until reduced by half. Whisk in the butter and cilantro.
- Spoon the sauce over the burgers and serve.
