4 1/2 cups red apples, cored unpared and sliced thinly
3 cups green cabbage, shredded finely
1 cup sour cream
3 Tbs fresh lemon juice
1 Tbs granulated sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 Tbs poppy seed
1. In large bowl or plastic portable container with lid, lightly toss ingredients until combined well. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
2. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
